Thank you for your interest in participating in the Call2Recycle collection program. The collection program is only available to organizations. If you are an individual interested in recycling batteries, please drop them off at one of our drop-off locations nearest you. 


This program accepts consumer dry cell batteries weighing 5 kg or less each, including: 
  • Alkaline batteries (AA, AAA, etc.)
  • Lithium ion (Li-ion) batteries
  • Lithium primary batteries
  • Nickel cadmium (Ni-Cd) batteries
  • Nickel metal hydride batteries (Ni-MH)
  • Nickel zinc batteries (Ni-Zn)             
  • Small Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) batteries *excluding SK
 

BATTERIES FOR ELECTRIC BIKES, ELECTRIC SCOOTERS, ELECTRIC SKATEBOARDS AND HOVERBOARDS

This program accepts rechargeable lithium-ion batteries used to power electric bikes, electric scooters, electric skateboards and hover boards weighing 5 kg or less each.  By becoming a collection partner, you will receive specially designed battery shipping containers, storage instructions, safe handling and point-of-sale materials to use when communicating with customers.
